Executive MBA and MBA career coaching

Career coaching facilitates learning allowing associates unlock their potential through understanding and clarifying goals, objectives, motivator and identifying transferable skills and personal values. Understanding a person’s strengths, values and achievements will not only ensure career success but how that individual can promote and evaluate their career options.


Book a session

Sessions are one-on-one consultations of one hour, with slots available between 2 to 8 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. They will occur approximately every two weeks, with dates available at the booking link below. You can attend face-to-face in Brisbane, or via telephone or Skype if you can’t make it to the Brisbane campus; select your preferred option when making the booking.

With over 20 years of experience working in Corporate and University sectors in Australia and the United Kingdom, specialising in career counselling, recruitment and executive search. As MBA career advisor, Tim Burton has developed a range of corporate strategic relationships, building networks of local contacts across all market sectors as well as advising students how to network and leverage their studies to gain promotion or transition into a new career.

The Role

As a Manager you will regularly be the prime point of contact for our clients, applying your problem solving skills, stakeholder management skills, analytical skills as well as experience to maximise the competitive advantage our clients derive from their supply base. The role will involve planning and leading client projects and works-streams as well as manage your team, while leveraging the experience of Infosys Portland’s subject matter experts and senior leadership.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement and supply chain organisational and value delivery strategies to solve a variety of business problems. You will work across a range of clients, projects, and industries utilising your procurement or supply chain knowledge as well as your stakeholder management and problem solving skills to meet our client’s needs.

Education

Degree Qualifications in Engineering, Business, Economics, Commerce, Law or Science
MBA from a leading business school would be advantageous

Experience & Competence necessary

At least 4-5 years’ consulting experience with solid experience in procurement, supply chain, cost out or transformation projects
Significant experience within or assisting blue-chip organisations
Proven experience managing own projects and small project teams
Solid analytical skills
Solid functional knowledge in the areas of strategic sourcing, category management procurement transformation, SRM and supply chain
Excellent team skills with the ability to lead and/or take direction
Demonstrated people management skills, including coaching of both junior employees and client staff
Good facilitator and ability to develop a storyline for clients

The Role
